Maybe it's just my eyes, but the picture looks like dark OD green to me. I don't really mind what color the sheath is, but someone else might. Knife came very sharp right out of the box, with all lines and angles straight as they should be. Very nice knife and well made. Reviewer who said that the sheath can dull the edge is correct, but that is easily fixed by gluing a thin strip of soft plastic inside the sheath to contact the edge, or just be careful about holding the edge away when putting in or pulling out. Also love that the sheath is ambidextrous for us lefties. Finally, keep in mind that the color of the leather will get darker over time, especially if you handle it with sweaty hands. Almost black after many years. That's not a bad thing, it's just what happens.
