It’s great under a synthetic coat or a down layer to provide a bit of extra warmth in very cold conditions, I quite like how thin it is as the level of warmth it provides while also fitting under other clothes is perfect for me.My only complaint about it is that the neck is quite tight when you fully zip it up and due to how tall the collar is it can get a little annoying having the zip poking into your chin.
