very successful germination
I have your basic plastic seed germinator. It's a Park Seed Bio Dome. It's nothing fancy, just a plastic box with 2 vents on top. It has a styrofoam base that floats in water, with 60 individual cells. You stick these little bio-sponges into the cells, and you drop a seed in the hole in each sponge. The sponges soak up the water and feed the seed. Every seed sprouted 3 days later. This is the 2nd time I've had success with these seeds. Once the seedling is established in the sponge, you take the whole sponge and plant it in the garden. Boom. The sponge bio-degrades and the plant is on its way. When you need to germinate again, you just order more bio-sponges, they're not expensive. 10 bucks for 60 of them. That's the easiest way to get success from these seeds. I have carpets of cress all over the place.

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY
This package of seeds is unopened and I'm returning this because of issues I had with a previous ordered. I wrote the company about this, and the following is email conversations which I cut and paste.Subject:SUPPORT REQUEST:This is the second year I ordered moonflower vine seeds from you. The first year every one of the seeds germinated. I started them by clipping and soaking in water. This year I ordered 1/4 lb and not one germinated. I would like a replacement.REPLY FROM OUTSIDEPRIDEWe're very sorry for the difficulty . I know with the seed. All of our seed meets or exceeds 70% germination as tested by independent labs. The most common reason for poor germination is the seed drying out between irrigations. It’s best to irrigate lightly, multiple times throughout the day to ensure that the seeds stay moist. If the seed stays moist, is kept at the recommended temperature and isn’t buried too deeply, it will have good germination (as listed on the label) and establishment. Any questions regarding temperature or depth requirements for each seed can be found on our website. This is what our warranty states:We cannot guarantee establishment of seed due to various factors over which we have no control. Many seeds are very tiny and a hard rainfall, planting too deep, soil pH, not keeping the seed moist, cold temperatures, and other environmental factors may hinder success. This is why we do not guarantee the germination of seed. I REPLIED:That's Okay,This email was just to inform you that I spent $13.00 1/4lb of seeds that refused to sprout. Your answer about the possibility that the seeds could be dried out (I agree) tells me that other seeds from your company could be dried out as well. The other reason you give is about drying out of the irrigation. The seeds never had the opportunity to experience any drying out on this end, as they never sprouted in the bowl of water, which was provided, (I will attach a video of how to sprout moon vines in case you are not aware) which says that if this was true, they were dried out before they were shipped to me. I will cancel out the seeds I ordered.yesterday just in case they could be defective as well and post this experience, so others won't make the mistake of ordering seeds from your company.Like I mentioned in my previous email, I ordered from you last year with good results from your sprouting your seeds. I am 76 years old and a long-time gardener as well as a certified Master Gardener and I know how to grow Moon vines.Sorry you are so defensive on this matter, but fortunately I learned a good lesson as to not buy in the future from your company and to warn others! This is not about the money, it's about the principal of selling a defective product.Have a nice day,Almost immediately after sending this last email, the ad for the Moon vines was removed from Amazon so I couldn't post a revue. This is the reason I'm addressing this issue on a different order (which I'm returning). I called Amazon and I was pleased to find that Amazon completely supported me on this issue. They refunded the money and are making contact with this company.

Did get some to sprout, but not sure what colors they will be or how well they will grow...
Despite the other reviews, I purchased the seeds and planted them outside with much research performed as to how to plant them correctly. After about a month and not knowing what the sprouts looked like, I decided to grow some inside so that I could identify the ones outside from weeds. I did not have a high germination rate but I did get some to sprout. I am hoping to get the indoor seedlings started enough to transplant in the fall before freezes and hopefully, it will return in the spring. I do suggest you start the seed indoors, I simply used plastic cups with garden soil and covered tightly with plastic wrap and a rubber band to provide a greenhouse effect. The second picture is some that I believe sprouted outdoors when I compared them to photos online. It would be nice if more info was sent on care and identification with the seeds.

These are not aubrieta seeds -- they're vinca :-(
UPDATE 10-22-17I just discovered that these seeds/ plants are NOT aubrieta They are vinca :-(I gave a two star rating (instead of a ONE-star) only because the plants are healthy and blooming.the original review is below.UPDATE 10-17-17The plants have started developing buds, one bloomed today! (The poor tings are probably "confused" as to what season it actually is, because they've been under grow lights from the beginning :-). I'm kind of disappointed, though, that the flowers are pink/red --- instead of blue as advertised.10-10-17 After reading the bad reviews, I wasn't too hopeful about the seeds germinating. So I just scattered the whole envelope full of seeds into a planter, put them under grow lights on a heating mat.... and about two weeks later I had at least 500 seedlings come up! Photo below, two months later (I planted them in a cut off milk jug.) I'm not certain if they're mature enough yet to survive the winter, so i put them outside to "harden off", and plan to put them on a heated (about 40 degrees in winter) back porch for the winter. If they don't survive the winter, i'll update my rating.
