It is a hefty weight which suggest that the heating element is ready to work. It heats up in about 2-3 minutes. It has excellent output but barely leaks at all when not in use (at temperature). I’ve used the Arrow (150 watt?) guns and really liked them but this thing is much better. I also really like the 2 stand options. The fold away is my go to but if I worked in a shop I would probably use the larger stand. Well worth the price!

It is a hefty weight which suggest that the heating element is ready to work. It heats up in about 2-3 minutes. It has excellent output but barely leaks at all when not in use (at temperature). A high temp gun. So the glue is very liquid. And none drips out. It's magic. It has some sort of spring loaded valve in the end. When I let go of the grip the valve closes and stops the glue. I can set it down anywhere. No drips. A nice gun otherwise too. Feels sturdy. Lots of heat. Easy to squeeze.
