For two main reasons, price and quality. They are more affordable, and the coating is far better quality than Kreg. The Kreg coating is inconsistent which at times makes it difficult to fit the driver bit in the screw to drive it, which shouldn’t really happen with a square drive in my opinion. However, the Armor screws have a wonderful even coat, that does not hinder the driver bit at all in getting a perfect fit on the screw. They drive like a charm every time!
