When I can't have enough of it, and I'm breathing hard and perspiring after a few songs, that's a REAL work out game. The game dancers who create moves for players to follow are truly magnificent; it's like watching a music video! Sometimes when I'm not playing the game, just watching the dancers provides enough entertainment to last for hours. The game graphics are terrific with psychodelic colors coming from the dancers and the background to provide mental stimulation and stress relief. I enjoy the rainbow of graphics so much that the cable TV music videos I see are now bland and boring to me. The sound tracks were some of the best from every era. The only song that could come into question for young children who may play it is "You Can't Touch This" which used the word "sucker" in a gangster like fashion. It could also be a karaoke for players who are singers, but the words are sometimes too quickly removed from the bottom of the game screen to make it feasible for singing. However, song lyrics are just a minor bug or defect that doesn't detract from the game's true intent which is to let players mimic the dancers. The moves are easy to follow because the shadows of the dancers are a split second ahead of their real moves to let players see the next move, as well as cartoon captions that show up in a scrolling marquee at the bottom of the screen to display the next major dance patterns. Suggestions: Provide a feature in the next Just Dance II to allow self play for all songs and dances to allow owners to turn the game into a virtual music video on the Wii console (songs' endless loop to be cancelled with a push of a button from Wii-mote, also add ability to un-check songs that the user don't want to hear) Finally, add a feature to allow parents to turn off any of the songs for their children (some parents could be against some song lyrics and the song contents). I purchased the Winter Olympics game for $40 recently and was SO disappointed when I played it, that it left me "gunshy" to purchase another game without having tried it first. But I am SO glad I bought Just Dance. Well, let me start out by saying that I am NOT a dancer...I have NO rhythm whatsoever. But, this Just Dance game is So much fun and great exercise. My heart is racing by the time I finish a song, but I keep going on and on, because I am having so much fun. There is a good variety of music, something for almost everyone. I agree with some of the other reviews that it would be nice if there were more music, especially once I have played this longer and get used it, but the number of songs (around 30 I think) wouldn't stop me from purchasing this product. The only other negative review I have read about this game is that the Great, OK and X (based on the accuracy of your movements) are not accurate, which is somewhat true. However, using that rating is just a little incentive for me, doesn't really matter all that much. I am doing this for the exercise and the rating is not all that important. I give this game 5 stars and would highly recommend it to anyone. Our whole family has enjoyed this, in fact this is the only game that is played. Not only can the adults do it and find it a challenge, but the kids can pick up easy as well. I have a 7 year old and 5 year old twins and all of them can do it. Some of the songs are more challenging than others, but they are all great fun. It is so much fun to sit back and watch the kids dance together and each time they get more and more of the steps down. They are even trying to get the feet moves. We have had this game sense x-mas and we have played nothing else. It's not complicated and it is just plan fun! Not to mention after 1 song you are getting a good work out! We are all loving this game. I can't wait for them to come out with the next version! It will entertain adults and kids alike, all age groups can do this. Just follow the dancer on screen, how simple!
