Next, the fishing wires are absolutely foolproof, making it all but impossible to make a mistake. And since this is the second Curt hitch I've installed, I could tell they made the fishing wires even better! They added big, blunt caps on the end of the wires, so you don't poke your eye out while fiddling around under the vehicle! And really, the fishing wires are what make it so easy. I didn't have anyone to help me install it, so I was laying on the ground, with the hitch on my chest. I threaded the wires through the bolt holes on the hitch, then lifted it into place. The wires guide the hitch, and also keep the bolts from bumping up and getting lost in the frame! That's such a helpful detail! This is a company that LISTENS to their customers! I purchased this CURT Class 3 hitch for my Subaru Forester, and I am extremely impressed with the quality and fit. The best part by far was the ease of installation. Since it features a vehicle-specific bolt-on design, everything lined up perfectly with the factory holes—no drilling or major modifications were needed.
