This is long winded, but I hope it will be of use to you. I hate dry, unhelpful reviews, and I have taken it on as my personal task to fight against this and create informative, amusing (well, I crack myself up in any case) reviews. Happy reading....tldr; solid purchase.My mom has a pair of these in black. She loves them. My mother is a tiny elderly Asian woman, and comes from the generation where you crammed your feet into ill-fitting shoes, bones be damned! Podiatrists gotta eat too, right? Anyhow, her feet hurt her, and she has osteo issues and the like, so, comfort is paramount. And she prefers lightweight shoes. Like, she will heft a pair of shoes while we're shopping for them and go "no, these are heavy". Where you could have told me I was holding gel air and I would have believed you. She also has super tiny feet. Finding shoes for her can be problematic. "What?!!? They don't have a size five and a half?!!?" - My Mom.They had shoes in my mom's size. The upper material is a weave type thing and it accommodates her feet. They are amazingly lightweight. Because of the weave upper construction, they breathe. (awesome in Texas heat) They are well made. The metallic colour put her off a bit, as she likes true neutrals, but that's a personal thing. (We actually argued for a few minutes because she said they were 'green', so... - and they're not) They shipped out right away and we received them in a timely manner.They are comfortable (according to my mom) and are now her go-to shoes. I will end up buying another pair of these for her whenever she's worn these down enough or wants another colour. If mom's happy, everybody's happy. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Heel of shoe is way too wide *by T***A on Reviewed in the United States on August 12, 2018* I really love the look of these shoes.. I have a pair of the Victoria and wanted a change. You do have to go up in size - I am an 8 1/2 and need a size 40. I wanted these for an upcoming France trip -- they look awesome on -- better than the photo. My problem is the heel area is way too large for my narrow ankles/heels. The shoes are somewhat boxy inside -- I can fit a whole Merrell insole (from another pair of shoes) inside which gave it much- needed arch support. But no matter what I tried, the shoes were flopping around on my ankles. I think the Victoria may fit me better because it has a padded collar/tongue area which hugs the ankle somewhat. The sole of the Rigged Jim did not feel quite as stable as the Victoria -- in other words, the support under my feet felt too narrow. I've had ankle and foot surgeries and can't take a chance with unsteady footing. So thank you Amazon, for quick service and free returns. I'm sorry these didn't work for me because they really are so good looking!! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Comfortable, Comfortable, Comfortable *by G***E on Reviewed in the United States on November 30, 2017* This is my 2nd pair of these shoes & I love them. They are so comfortable & go with everything I wear from shorts to slacks. I also have a couple of pair of Bernie Mev Catwalks but, I like these much better. My other pair of Rigged Jim's are the denim color & look great with jeans. I ordered my regular size & they fit perfectly.
