A: the ingredients do not include any dairy (but there is no disclaimer of whether produced in dairy-free processing plant)

A: Good question - though, I can only answer from memory, as the pacakge is no longer available. However, the answer is no - I saw the usual ingredients which include nonfat dry milk.  It is surprising (and a bit disconcerting) to me now - after checking even the company site that ingredients aren't listed anywhere for their products.

**Q: What is the full ingredient list?? I see some saying they’re dairy free and some say they’re not?**
A: There is no dairy listed - but rather, as previoulsy noted in the Amazon answers, the ingredients listed as on package are: sugar, hydrogenated palm kernal oil, aluminum lake dyes, vanillin, salt and lecithin.

These are fresh and terrific tasting butterscotch morsels. Smaller than the grocery store brand but they made our holiday family recipe just wonderful.
