Worked perfect for makeup artist station on photoshoot *by @***H on Reviewed in the United States on May 21, 2019* Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I am reviewing the “AirExpect Makeup Vanity mirror with Light Bulbs - 3 Color Lighting Modes Hollywood Style Tabletops Lighted Cosmetic Mirror with 12 Dimmable LED Bulbs and Touch Control Design”.I purchased the AirExpect Makeup Vanity Mirror for use on a photoshoot. I also purchased the Simplehuman wide view “pro” for $500+ (USD) at the same time, a wide variation in pricing and quality spectrum.Packaging: The AirExpect Makeup Vanity Mirror comes in a standard cardboard box with foam packaging inserts. It is adequately protected for shipping and continued transport. The mirror once unboxed weighs less than 5lbs.Product Color/s: It comes in all white. Speaking fairly, this is either a positive aspect or negative aspect. Some people will want color variations I imagine. Some people will not. Some people will not like the way makeup easily smudges on white. However it is plastic so it is easily cleaned up. Therefore I cannot ding them for this since it is simply a matter of opinion.Weight: It is on the light side. For my specific use scenario, this was favorable as we needed to move the mirrors around to each (temporary) makeup station.Usage: First thing we noticed setting up the AirExpect Makeup Vanity Mirror is that it is very bright (super positive!). However if it is too bright you can always dim it, the LEDs are dimmable by a simple hold/press. Comparing it side-by-side with the SimpleHuman mirror is just funny, you can see from the video review, the Simplehuman mirror is dim, even at max brightness. The AirExpect Makeup Vanity Mirror is a fraction of the price of the SimpleHuman and yet puts out a much more usable brightness for any mirror use. Maybe Simpehuman should have bought more (and brighter) LEDs for their expensive mirror.You can adjust the color temperature of the LEDS into three color modes: white, yellow, and white+yellow. I like to define this as “Warm”, “Cool”, and “Mixed mode/Natural light”. For our setup we used the “Mixed mode/Natural light” and found it to be the best under our existing lighting conditions (fluorescent).The mirror has a 45 degree tilt-able base, though I/we (the makeup artist) found the stock position to be ideal. It also has an indent shelf/tray on the base making it a convenient area to place makeup. The mirror has 12 plastic diffusers covering the (72 total) LEDs. You can see from the video review that the LEDs simple diffusers did a perfect job of, well…diffusing, as there is no lens flares or glaring light streaks. The lighting is bright and consistent.I had debated on this AirExpect Mirror and a few other mirrors that are priced in the same range, however, I went with this one due to the positive reviews and the predicted durability. While I thought some of the other ones might have looked fancier, they appeared fragile and not ideal for frequent moving around on a film/photo set.Lastly, it comes with a *Lifetime Warranty*, meaning that it arrives with a level of accountability that most US manufacturers are too scared and cheap to take on these days.I made the video review themed after the 80's, because that was the concept behind the photoshoot. I've been using makeup mirrors for many a moon. Most of them have the front view with 2 side panels. They are great but never bright enough. I would usually put on my makeup and then go to the bathroom to check what the real light has to say. Well, THIS MIRROR has a bright and accurate light, so there's no need to do a recheck. This mirror is larger than others I've used. It measures around 8 x 12", so it's a good size 'picture'. It also tilts up and down. The best part for me, though, is the brightness that I was looking for with makeup application. I can get it right the first time. The mirror is sleek and Hollywood looking. It has a very light touch on and off and adjusts to 3 different settings. There's also a nice tray that the mirror securely sits in. This is by far my most favorite makeup mirror ever. The one thing it does not have if that is something that is important to/for you is a magnifier option. All in all, I highly recommend this makeup mirror. I don't believe it's designed for travel. This mirror is the BEST mirror I ever had, and I've had and tried so many in the past. This is actually my second mirror from Airexpect, and they always live up to your expectations when it comes to the design: a very classy design meant for a lady and not a kid. I got this one because I liked the first one a lot, but I never thought it would be this good. I've never reviewed products before, but I felt this one deserves praise, because it made my day when I got it. My first mirror from them was very cute, but the lighting was so-so, so if you exclusively wanted it for lighting, even it's the best you can get in its category and size, this one takes it a step further with PERFECT lighting. It literally enlightens the whole room I'm in when I put the window down. It has three modes of lighting: warm, natural, and cool light. I personally prefer the whiter light of the three because it's the brightest. I thought the bulbs would need a replacement at first after a while, but they don't. The rotation is fine, it doesn't do figures and back flips, but I think it's all you will ever need. The mirror is a quality mirror, keep in mind it's an oversized mirror, (it is BIG) you won't find yourself complaining about how small it is and how it can only cover a 12 years old girl face. This product is the only mirror you would need on your vanity. I'm overall satisfied with this item, value and worth surpass by far the money it costs. This product is definitely a good buy and I'm thinking of getting my mom one for her birthday, as her bathroom doesn't have enough light.
