I bought a single 20 dollar "ox horn" from Man & Mane that was shipped broken twice (but regardless snagged) a few others that just weren't... finished (for the lack of a better word) very unpolished so they snagged too. The black comb that come with this kit had almost the perfect spaced wide tooth part (not sure honey color has same teeth) but the teeth were also polished and rounded for less snagg. One thing that bums me out is that the pleasant sandalwood scent from my old comb is almost nonexistent in this one. But it's nice.
