## Overview

The OEMTOOLS 24937 Fluid Extractor is a versatile 6L oil pump designed for professional-grade fluid removal. Featuring dual pneumatic/manual operation, an automatic shut-off valve, and extended hose reach, it streamlines oil, coolant, and transmission fluid changes without the hassle of drain plugs. Built tough for daily garage or mobile use, it’s the smart, mess-free solution for efficient automotive maintenance.

## Description

The OEMTOOLS 24937 Pneumatic and Manual Fluid Extractor, with a 1.5-gallon (6L) reservoir, is built for fast, mess-free removal of low viscosity fluids. Use shop air or the manual pump to extract engine oil, transmission fluid, coolant, gear oil, or power steering fluid directly through dipstick tubes or fluid openings. This extractor features a one-piece leakproof tank, a 5-foot suction hose, and two dipstick adapters. The automatic oil change pump shut-off valve prevents overfilling, making fluid changes safer and cleaner. With its oversized pumping handle, updated 41-inch dipstick hose, and dual operation modes, this oil pump extractor is ideal for shops, garages, and mobile use. Whether you're performing an oil change, coolant flush, or transmission service, this fluid extractor pump delivers professional results. Designed for automotive tools, boats, and engine oil changes, it's the smart choice for fluid maintenance. Always dispose of used fluids responsibly per local, state, and federal regulations. Compatible with standard air compressors using a Milton M-style quick-connect coupling with 1/4" NPT fitting.

Review: Awesome - This worked great to extract the heavy gear oil out of my front and rear differentials. I used with a compressor and made it very easy. Seems very well made, no leakage at all, great value!
Review: Works - with an N of 1 - Really feels like a quality product. I have a Promaster 3500 which has a top accessible filter housing and with this makes oil change a breeze. I have only used it once and will probably not use it on our Toyota since filter is only accessible under the vehicle. Directions are terrible. And yt vids are not great for set up but it is intuitive. All connections are friction based and held in by the suction generated. There are 2 end hoses included, I only used the dip stick hose and I knew the depth to the oil pan from other videos about the van. You attach the thin dip stick hose (or the other for other fluids) to the wire reinforced tube (made in Japan, not China) which connects to the top of the evacuator. This was the only tricky part since there is a screw-on collar there. That stays screwed on when you evacuate the oil. The cap is later unscrewed/removed so you can empty the oil without making a mess. You turn the Venturi valve 90 degrees if you are hand pumping (you can also use a compressor but the manual mode worked so well I wouldn't bother). I heated the engine oil to 150 F (temp via OBD scan gauge) Got everything ready to go and pumped about 8 times and out came the oil. Pumped a few more times during process but only a few. Emptied the 6 quarts (right to the top of 1.5 gallon capacity) in under 10 minutes; didn't time it and may have been as few as 6-7. Easy to empty back into the 5 quart and 1 quart oil containers (with a funnel and with stabilized containers) at the end but did subsequently leave it inverted to let the last cooled down oil drip out later, as I did with the hoses. Hoses are the hardest to deal with emptying. Very little mess and the only oil I had to really clean were drips from the hoses and, ironically, a little spillage adding the new oil. Still used some cardboard and was glad due to the few drips.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Where is the manual? !!!**
A: here is the manual in PDF form. It is very easy to operate and works great.
Goto https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/81j8gbB-MCL.pdf

**Q: After you extract can you reverse the flow to drain the unit? Also will a small pancake compressor work with this? Thx**
A: No, we've never been able to reverse the flow, we've just had to dump it out. We do not know if a pancake compressor will work for sure, but it should. I don't see why it wouldn't work.

**Q: Is the pnuematic option that much better? trying to debate if it's worth the additional $30. tia**
A: I like the pneumatic option. I've found you will lose pressure before completely extracting all oil. With the manual pump unit I owned previously I had to check the extractor every X minutes and give it a few extra pumps to get it sucking again. With the pneumatic option it will take care of that itself. When the pressure drops, your compressor will compensate. No need to constantly monitor the situation.

**Q: does it remove gasoline from oil tank?**
A: Oil is more viscous than gasoline so the extraction should be faster for gasoline. You would have to make sure that the tube is long enough to reach your gasoline tank.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for oil changes.
*by J***M on June 28, 2026*

Works great for oil changes. Just used on a Infiniti QX 70 and when I removed the oil plug, no oil came out. Only used the manual hand pump this time too. Great for vehicles with the filter on top. On these vehicles you won’t have to crawl under the vehicle to remove the drain plug.
