The sole purpose of this mug is to be whimsical and used to make the new Duncan Hines single serve mug cake mixes. My nephew loves cakes and brownies and helping mom make them. With these new mixes and his new mug, he can now make on his own, with mom's supervision. The mug is a perfect size for the microwave cakes. The description says it holds 8 ozs. but actually it will hold a tiny bit more if you fill it to the brim. The feet are flat, poor mug, which means it sits perfectly on the table without any wobbling and sturdy enough, no inclination to tip whatsoever. The mug is well balanced and doesn't feel uncomfortable to hold. The color, orange, is perfect as it's my nephew's favorite.
