### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works in my phone case!

In a bid to save myself from having to carry my phone AND my wallet around with me, I recently switched to contactless payments via Google Wallet, meaning I could leave my actual wallet at home for convenience. All was fine until a few days ago when I discovered - while trying to by a monthly train ticket - that my bank has now lowered the maximum transaction limit for contactless payments. And of course, I didn't have my card with me to complete the transaction using chip and PIN! How INconvenient! Lo and behold, I am now back to having to carry my card as well as my phone! So, I bought a new phone case which allows a card to be stored in the back. This got me thinking about potential "card clash" issues, and the obvious security concerns around contactless payments being made from the card in error. So I looked for an RFID blocker, and came across this one. Despite NOT being "ultra thin" as described (it's the same thickness as a regular credit card), it fits snugly in my phone case's card compartment along with my payment card, and having tested it this morning, it seems to do the trick without affecting payments being made via Google Wallet! So now, I still have my card with me in case I need to make a payment using chip and PIN, and I know it's safe and secure the rest of the time. Perfect! Please note that if you intend to purchase an RFID blocker for use in your phone case as I have done, you should check the location of the NFC antenna in your phone relative to the card storage location. If they overlap, the RFID card will likely block contactless payments from both your card AND your phone. So it's worth keeping this in mind.
