Was very easy and simple to build (although took some time as lots of bolts and screws), but it does feel very sturdy and is smooth changing height. The customer service was very helpful before my purchase, but even better afterwards. Took about 2 hours to put together, with own hex keys and screwdrivers.Do take care to note the instruction pictures that do not show a hex key in the picture (and show a tightened nut with a cross through) these should not be fully tightened at that point.First time I have been able to sit comfortably at a desk without a footrest as I am only 5'2".
