I may get years more out of these boots! I'll be trying it on a coffee mug I broke. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works so well *by G***T on June 24, 2026* As an architecture student, this glue is really good for projects. Drys quick and holds strong. Even when I went to smash my project some of the prices stood against it. It is a little messy but it does it’s purpose ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic glue with a warning *by B***M on April 23, 2024* This glue is amazing. This solvent-based formula is hard to find in stores in the US, which is why I ordered it in Amazon. I wanted it for paper, and it works really well. But the solvent itself is a real problem for me. This original all-purpose UHU has a gel texture that is easy to smooth (unlike traditional rubber cement). It is solvent-based and not water-based, so it sticks lots of materials together and does not cause paper to warp or wrinkle (because there isn’t water). The solvent evaporates almost immediately, leaving you just enough time to slide stuff around a bit. But the evaporating solvent smells horrible and is really bad for your health. The “use with ventilation” advice is fine if you are outside and glue 2 things together quickly. Do not use it indoors with a window and a fan and try gluing several things over a period of time. It will make you sick. And I would never let a kid use this stuff. I ended up purchasing UHU solvent-free all-purpose adhesive to use for my project. I wanted to try this original formula first because it was the recommended glue, but I am pleased with the performance of the solvent-free version. I damaged my brain so you don’t have to! Buy this fantastic glue if you are careful about how you expose your skin and lungs to it. In short, if you are repairing a pair of shoes or working quickly outside or wearing a ventilator (seriously), this is the glue to use. It’s basically contact or rubber cement, with the benefit of having a useful gel texture. Otherwise, try to solvent-free version by UHU. ## Frequently Bought Together - UHU 38106 All Purpose Adhesive - 125ml Tube - Got2b Glued Blasting Freeze Hairspray, 12 oz, Pack of 2 - MapofBeauty 40 Inch/100cm Fashion Straight Long Costume Anime Cosplay Wig (Silver) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/12416940-38106-all-purpose-adhesive-125ml-tube](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/12416940-38106-all-purpose-adhesive-125ml-tube) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-23*
