Review: Great buy! I love this thing! - This is perfect for my 1995 Subaru Impreza. Great sound quality, really loud volume without distortion, easy to use. For some reason I thought it would be a foot long. It looks that way in the pictures. I was surprised when the box came. It's only about as big as my hand! It came charged, though, so I paired it quickly and easily to my phone, and was ready to go. It's great having a speaker right above my head. And if I need to lower my visor, the sound isn't much worse; it bounces off the window. My audio books sound great, and people can hear me just fine on phone calls. The volume can be turned up very high, so even when you're flying on the freeway, you can hear loud and clear, and with virtually no distortion. When you adjust the volume, don't just press the + button and hold it. That doesn't work. Press it repeatedly. When you reach max volume, it gives you a beep. Also, it doesn't keep your last volume setting if you shut it off, so raise it again if you need to each time. There's no LCD display, which keeps the price down. It gives audio signals, such as when it connects to your phone when you turn it on. And when you're charging, there's a little red light that's on while it's charging, and it goes off when it's fully charged. I haven't tried the motion sensor feature; there's a little switch on the side, so I just turn it off and pop it in my glove box when I park. I'm so happy with this purchase. It makes my 1995 Impreza better than my 2016 Impreza as far as my audio books, frankly. I mean, to use the Bluetooth built-in to the console of my 2016, I have to start the car, and then it takes a long time for the on-board computer to boot up. With this little speaker in my 1995, I hit the switch, press Play on my phone, and within seconds I'm listening on it, before I even start my car. Buy this! You'll be glad you did. It's a straightforward product that does exactly what it says, and very well.

Also, despite other reviews I read that had me concerned, the auto on when you enter the car seems to work fine. I hear the beep of it turning on when I open the door and it immediately connects to my phone. I think the issue may be that in order for it to auto shut down, you have to go out of bluetooth range, or turn off your phone's bluetooth. As long as you stay connected, it stays on, and that may be the issue some people have if they are still close to their car when they are in their house. The range seems quite long in fact. The battery life is impressive, and it charges quite fast. Two things I would change: The max volume could be louder. If I am driving at freeway speeds in my pickup, it's JUST loud enough on max that I'm not complaining or taking away a star....but JUST, and only when placed on the sunshade right above my head. If I had a louder truck, that might be an issue. Generally I keep it on max volume the whole time, and that seems to be the right volume for all conditions.....but I kind of think that there should be a range that extends beyond this, for special noisy conditions. (Note that I use this mainly for audio books while commuting, the phone call volume was always fine those few times someone called me) Second is that when the battery is low, you get a warning beep every couple minutes. If you plug it in while still using it, it works indefinitely, but also never stops the occasional beeping. I think the battery warning beep should shut off if you plug it in. The solution is to plug it in before you get to the beeping point, and then it works indefinitely without ever beeping, but there is no battery indicator so..... Or you can turn it off and let it charge for a few minutes so it is then above the beep level. Anyway to summarize, I like it, despite the couple of changes I would make, and I would buy it again. EDIT 7/19/21 - After using this for a while now, I have decided to remove one star, due to the limitation of the max volume. Now with some experience I have decided that the max volume really needs to be louder. I drive a 2015 Nissan Frontier pick-up, and while this is not as quiet a ride as, say, a Tesla, it is also within the normal range of your typical modern vehicle. When I am driving at freeway speeds, it becomes difficult to hear and understand everything that comes out over this speaker, even on max volume and even when clipped to the sun visor right above my head. I have had to clip it to my collar at times in order to have a conversation without asking "what" every other sentence. This would likely not be an issue in a quieter car, but then again, such a car would be likely to have built in Bluetooth these days.

A: Either physically turn the speaker switch off when you exit the car (easiest) or go to your phone Bluetooth setting snd turn it off there.   The automatic proximity connect without asking can be a pain.

**Q: Can it give directions from Google maps /Google assistant or only Siri assistant ?**
A: I don't think it will do goolge maps. But it will do google asst Siri

I own use a samsung galaxy s7 phone and use the Besign BK06 Bluetooth 5.0 in-car Speakerphone to make calls, search google, and stream music from my phone. Biggest struggle with using hands free calling is that if the name of the person i want to call in my phone is a non-english name (like an african or asian name) or if the name is longer than 2 words. An example of a english name in my phone that I cannot call without having to touch my phone is "Alicia Crystall Browning". If I I press the call button on the Besign BK06, and say "Call Alicia Crystall Browning mobile" it will not make the call. Alicia has 3 names so i think it quits at the 3rd name assuming the 3rd word is supposed to be the "phone type". This may not be the fault of the Besign BK06 Bluetooth 5.0 in-car Speakerphone but rather a limitation of Alexa and my google assistant on my phone. I do notice however, in my wife's car with her built-in handsfree system i don't experience this issue even when using my same phone but on her system. This is a minor inconvenience for me. No big deal. Sound quality of music playback for a device this size that works so well in terms of call quality and phone and motion detection is adequate. Most low end frequencies on sound playback barely register and it being a vehicular device (you are driving on the road) a lot of low and mid frequencies would barely register or be taken up by the sound of traveling over asphalt anyways. So this device rates as well as I would expect sound-wise in a moving vehicle. overall, it's a very decent tool for the price point and i recommend it for folks driving an older model car that want to add bluetooth functionality for calling and short listens of music without having to take on an expensive and invasive project of overhauling their vehicle's audio. I only wish there was some way to feed the audio playback from my phone back through my car's speakers.
