The cot is designed to be extra wide and long to accommodate a range of camping enthusiasts. The cot’s dimensions are 28 inches wide, 75 inches long, and 18.5 inches high. The Camp Cot is engineered with heavy duty tubular carbon steel legs that can support up to 300 pounds. To set up the cot, simply set it on even ground and press down on the 4 frame joints directly above the vertical support legs. This will lock the cot in the open position. Place the cot on a flat surface for maximum comfort while you sleep. To put the Camp Cot away, turn it on its side and tap the locked frame joints directly above all four vertical support legs. This will loosen the securely locked joints so that you can pull the frame cords to fully collapse the cot into its folded position. The legs are arranged in an innovative X frame pattern to allow for this easy set up and pack down method. The cot legs also feature a powder coat finish and flat plastic feet to prevent the cot from sinking in soft soils or puncturing the tent floor. To pack the camping cot, place it legs first in the included carry bag and use the draw cord to close the bag so you can travel onward to your next adventure. The cot is lightweight and weighs a total of 13 pounds including its carry bag; its packed size is slightly larger than a foldable camping chair at 5 inches long by 8 inches wide by 40 inches high. The Camp Cot is equipped with heavy duty 600D PVC coated polyester; this fabric is waterproof and helps prevent moisture buildup and mildew in wet weather conditions. With a slightly elevated headrest, you can use the cot with or without a pillow and remain comfortable all night long. The Camp Cot provides an easy-to use portable sleep solution for camping trips, days at the beach, and lounging under the stars. ## Features - This lightweight camping cot is designed with tubular carbon steel legs that can support up to 300 pounds; flat plastic feet prevent the cot from sinking in soft soils; comes with a carry bag - Open cot dimensions are 28 inches wide, 75 inches long, and 18.5 inches high so you can sleep comfortably on your side or back; elevated headrest ensures comfort with or without a pillow - Constructed with heavy duty 600D PVC coated polyester to help prevent moisture buildup in wet weather conditions; its packed size is slightly larger than a camp chair; weighs 13 pounds - Easy to use; open by pressing down on the 4 frame joints to lock them in position; close by loosening the same joints while the cot is on its side and pulling the frame cords to fold the legs - Features a side pocket with a cell phone section, a mesh outer pocket for easy visibility, and another for items such as flashlights; use as a sleeping option for houseguests and sleepovers ## Images ![OSAGE RIVER Folding Camping Cot with Carry Bag, Portable and Lightweight Bed for Adults or Kids - Image 1](https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/71eocsbTdlL.jpg) ![OSAGE RIVER Folding Camping Cot with Carry Bag, Portable and Lightweight Bed for Adults or Kids - Image 2](https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/81qNsdZC6UL.jpg) ![OSAGE RIVER Folding Camping Cot with Carry Bag, Portable and Lightweight Bed for Adults or Kids - Image 3](https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/81YpkgbwcHL.jpg) ![OSAGE RIVER Folding Camping Cot with Carry Bag, Portable and Lightweight Bed for Adults or Kids - Image 4](https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/81UGHJCrOcL.jpg) ![OSAGE RIVER Folding Camping Cot with Carry Bag, Portable and Lightweight Bed for Adults or Kids - Image 5](https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/91nwhxZDzxL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Comfortable cot of good size, easy to carry and operate *by M***P on Reviewed in the United States on March 7, 2018* We bought our cots because we go on multiple youth and missions work trips where we sleep in churches or high school gyms. I grew so frustrated with air mattress, I never wanted to bother with one again. I can't stand cold coming up from under me and I always slept freezing on an air mattress. The first night I slept on this cot, it was comfortable and I feel asleep quickly, I didn't have a pad on it and did wake up cold. I've since added the thermarest pad and since it reflects the heat back at you, it solved that problem. I would recommend that if you sleep cold.I was looking for a cot that was easy to transport and of decent size, my husband is six foot and I didn't want him hanging off of one. I also needed it to be easy for my daughter and I to put up and take down ourselves without any help. The cots are long enough for a 6 ft man, wide enough to sleep on your side and so easy to setup! You just pull it open like a camp chair. One other feature I intentionally looked for was something quiet. I didn't want some crinkle sound everytime I moved. I didn't have that problem with this cot. We have many more trips coming up and we are happy to have these traveling with us.We have also used them when we had extra house guests and they love them too! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I have tried other cots and didn't like them because they had a bar at the ends *by P***X on Reviewed in the United States on January 18, 2018* I have had this for a month or so and I use it every day. I bought this for my home office. I admit it, I am older, work from home, and take a nap every afternoon after lunch. I used a blow up mattress for years, but I had to deflate it to put it in the closet. Now, I take my cot out of the closet and unfold it in less than 30 seconds, take my nap, then fold it and put it away in 30 seconds. I have tried other cots and didn't like them because they had a bar at the ends, or in the middle that was uncomfortable. This cot has no bars, and the head is slightly elevated. This works great for me because I am a side sleeper. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Seems sturdy and was pretty comfortable *by M***. on Reviewed in the United States on April 15, 2018* I bought this cot for my kids to take camping. It was a little bulky to carry around, but the carrying bag seemed sturdy enough. Setting the cot up was pretty straightforward, but the amount of force needed to get all the joints locked down was a little too much for my kids. After the cot was set up and the joints secured, the cot was pretty comfortable not only for the kids, but for adults also.Be careful when setting the cot up in a tent as the cot’s feets can really scratch up the tent flooring. I ended up using furniture sliders under the feets to protect the tent floor. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/125294317-osage-river-folding-camping-cot-with-carry-bag-portable-lightweight](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/125294317-osage-river-folding-camping-cot-with-carry-bag-portable-lightweight) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-09*
