You’ll love this cutting-edge trimmer for all your scrapbooking projects and crafts. This must-have scrapbooking trimmer cuts paper like butter, is easy to use and comes loaded with handy features. The blade housing runs on an aluminum double track that provides ultimate stability and control, resulting in straight cuts every time - and each blade is encased in a safety cover so sharp edges are never exposed. The new Patent Pending Sight Line clear alignment guides ensure a straight cut even if the paper is not against an edge or a cut is needed in the middle of a page. The trimmer’s base features rubber feet for a secure hold, and its underside has built-in storage for up to 12 cutting blades and a cutting mat strip. Review: Great trimmer at a decent price, cuts true every time. - Great trimmer at a decent price. I've bought 4 different 12" trimmers and they were always just a little bit off. Two of them were fiskars and being an n'th off made no sense, sent one back, the 2nd was the same. I didn't like using a guillotine and forget the cricut one. So I finally got rid of all of the trimmers and bought this Creative Memories Rotary and while it has it's issues (you can only open things that are in blue, I'm getting used to it!) the cuts have been absolutely dead on each time. I've wasted so much money on expensive wire trimmers. I bought an extra mat strip and straight blade and I'll get the scoring and deckle blades when I can. Review: Blessed! - I am SO blessed to have found this cutter!!! It has everything I wanted. Parts that show where it will and is cutting, a stabilizer to hold the pull out ruler to be level with the trimmer, rotary cutter and BONUS, exchangable blades. I didn't want to pay hundreds of dollars for a personal rotary trimmer yet, still wanted all I mentioned above. Love, love, love this trimmer! ## Features - Dimensions of product (arm folded in): 16.125”H x 7.125”W x 2”D - The Straight Blade is included with each trimmer (other interchangeable blades are available sold separately). - The self-leveling extendable ruler arm swings out to sit flush with the base, on the underside of the arm, a footrest pops out to secure the arm. - High-contrast black print on the white base allows for easy measurements and accurate cuts in English and Metric measurements. - A clear white dash on the blade housing ensures clear measuring from a side view, and the Cutting Mat Strip features four cutting areas, each designed for 500 cuts – that means you’ll get 2,000 cuts before needing a replacement! ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Manufacturer | Creative Memories | | Brand | Creative Memories | | Item Weight | 1.57 pounds | | Product Dimensions | 16.25 x 7.5 x 2.5 inches | | Item model number | 656818 | | Color | CA3964 | | Material Type | Paper | | Size | 12-inch Trimmer, Includes 1 Straight Blade | | Manufacturer Part Number | 657194 | ## Images ![Trimmers by Creative Memories (12-inch Trimmer, Includes 1 Straight Blade) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61r22Eqr1TL.jpg) ![Trimmers by Creative Memories (12-inch Trimmer, Includes 1 Straight Blade) - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71ZC5tB7raL.jpg) ![Trimmers by Creative Memories (12-inch Trimmer, Includes 1 Straight Blade) - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61XoB+5GNmL.jpg) ![Trimmers by Creative Memories (12-inch Trimmer, Includes 1 Straight Blade) - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61EvfdaBm7L.jpg) ![Trimmers by Creative Memories (12-inch Trimmer, Includes 1 Straight Blade) - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61sQevsdahL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: How does this item work on photos?** A: It should work fine on photo paper....I've had a million trimmers, like most crafters, and this is by FAR the best....I've bought several of the specialty blades, as well..I have yet to change the original blade. **Q: How much pressure do you have to place on the rotary cutter in order for it to cut the paper? I have carpal tunnel and can't press down very hard.** A: It depends on how thick your paper is, but generally speaking, this trimmer cuts very smoothly with very little pressure. You can always run the cutter blade a second swipe just to be sure it cuts all the way through. I've had a lot of trimmers over the years and this is my all-time favorite. **Q: Where is this made?** A: On the underside of the trimmer it says "Made in China". **Q: I love the idea of this...but am I seeing right, it only goes up to 5 inches, without extending the arm? If so, that's just not going to work for me.** A: To the very outside white edge, it is exactly 5 1/2 inches, then you need to extend the arm. I love this trimmer, and use it to cut chipboard for my mini-albums. It cuts so well, that I no longer use my Dahle 550 for chipboard. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great trimmer at a decent price, cuts true every time. *by W***S on October 1, 2025* Great trimmer at a decent price. Love, love, love this trimmer! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent trimmer, worth the price! *by D***T on January 10, 2021* After doing much research for a rotary paper trimmer, I decided on this one from Creative Memories. It was a decision that came down to this trimmer and the Fiskars Procision. I am so happy I went with this one. The other brand was just so big and bulky and was about $20 more expensive. I wanted a rotary trimmer that was solid and cut straight lines and this trimmer cuts like a dream! Also, this one has more features, plus I can order different decorative blades, something the other trimmer does not offer. You will have to eventually replace blades on this one, but well worth the cost in my opinion. Very happy with my purchase! ## Frequently Bought Together - Trimmers by Creative Memories (12-inch Trimmer, Includes 1 Straight Blade) - 12-inch Trimmer Waving Blade for Creative Memories12 inch Trimmer - Creative Memories 12-inch Trimmer Scallop Blade --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/125480608-trimmers-by-creative-memories-12-inch-trimmer-includes-1-straight](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/125480608-trimmers-by-creative-memories-12-inch-trimmer-includes-1-straight) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-24*
