SanDiskΒ’s TransFlash cards were recently adopted by the SD Card Association (SDA) and renamed "microSD." The new microSD card is fully compatible with TransFlash card slots and is designed as a small, flash memory storage card for mobile phones and devices. The company will continue to support existing TransFlash product lines and will transition its handset customers and the retail channel to the renamed microSD card over the next several months. Currently, the 512MB SanDisk microSD card is the largest capacity available in this form factor. The company expects to have 1GB microSD cards in limited quantities by late Q4 2005 and 2GB cards in 2006.Features and BenefitsIncludes SD card adapter Semi-removable Memory Module Expands memory capacity for mobile phones The world's smallest removable storage module Compatible with all TransFlash mobile devices ## Features - 5 Year warranty ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Hardware Connectivity | MicroSD | | Compatible Devices | Smartphone | | Additional Features | water proof | | Flash Memory Type | SD, Micro SD | | Memory Storage Capacity | 512 MB | | Item Weight | 1.6 ounces | | Color | Black | ## Product Details - **Brand:** SanDisk - **Model Name:** SanDisk - **Flash Memory Type:** Micro SD, SD - **Memory Storage Capacity:** 512 MB - **Compatible Devices:** Smartphone ## Images ![SanDisk 512MB TransFlash microSD Card (SDSDQ-512-A10M, Retail Package) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/21569MX199L.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sandisk 512mb TF works great with Samsung A920 *by J***R on March 28, 2006* This TF card works great with my Samsung A920 phone. I copied my music on to this card from my PC using the adapter that came with it. Put the micro sd in the phone and everything worked. However, when I had put the empty card in my phone it was showing that the available space is 483MB. The 512MB card is actually 500MB because they take 1 million bytes as 1MB but it should be 1024 KB. So bottomline 17MB (500 - 483) is used for internal purposes. But anyway 483MB is also sufficient for me. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice feature *by E***. on February 4, 2011* My father signed a two year agreement with AT&T he selected a free refurbished phone, but of course, it's no surprise to my knowledge not even a USB cable or any including accessories came with the phone. That didn't bother him, his only purpose with the phone is to receive calls. But I decided to buy him a memory card so he can have more storage with his songs he likes to hear through his bluetooth, & photos he likes to take. Buying the least memory (512mb) through a retail store cost about $20, instead I bought this cute little chip right here for about $5 (including shipping). It also came with an adapter, luckily my laptop had a tiny insert to transfer files, however with a USB cable, it'd be much easier. But I'm not complaining, this is a great buy. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works well with my eTrex *by M***T on July 28, 2008* I found this is a great upgrade to my Garmin eTrex GPS. The micro SD card slipped right into the slot under the battery cover and let me upload lots and lots of maps. The included 64 MB card really limits the number of maps that can be loaded onto the device. With this I'm yet to run into a space problem. The one limitation is transfer speed - I'm not sure if it is the device or the card but it takes a LONG time to upload anything close to 512MB to this card via the GPS and I'm yet to find support for a card reader in the Garmin software. All and all the card has been quite satisfactory. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/12655403-sandisk-512mb-transflash-microsd-card-sdsdq-512-a10m-retail-package](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/12655403-sandisk-512mb-transflash-microsd-card-sdsdq-512-a10m-retail-package) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-12*
