This is a patent remedy based on the ancient recipe "Hai Zao Yu Hu Tang" (Sargassum Decoction for the Jade Flask) in TCM originally appeared in Wai Ke Zheng Zong (Orthodox Manual of External Medicine), which is primarily used for resolving phlegm and softening hard masses, and resolving goiter and tumor, in cases of stony goiter, which is hard like a stone and unmovable in press, and normal in the skin color. It is applicable to thyroid adenoma and thyroid enlargement.
