It works, it's fast, and I like the function of the keyboard.Apps: Google Play says that many of the apps I tried to install are not compatible with my device. Some installed, but I noticed that there were 2 copies. 1 from APKpure and the other from the Google Play. The ones installed from Google Play refused to start. The ones from APKpure were outdated and started acting up after updates. Speaking of updates, the device itself does not have an update in the last year. My other devices seem to be updating constantly.UI: The home screen only has a few options on it. There's a favorite bar at the bottom, but it fills up quick. My other android tv devices have a lot more content on the home screen and it is easier to get into apps or resume shows.Control: The remote control seems to work fine for the OS, but once you get into the apps, it constantly loses anything that would indicate where your selector is. I constantly had to use the mouse feature on the included keyboard to actually click on something. Once I was watching a show, I couldn't pause a show unless I used the mouse feature to move the cursor down to the Play/Pause icon. BTW, the keyboard is not rechargeable or bluetooth. It comes with a USB dongle and runs on AAA batteries. The batteries do not fit well and have some connection issues.Quality: I borrowed an Onn stick from one of my 1080p TVs and bought this so I could move back to 4k after my smart tv wifi connection started getting flakey. The 1080p stick looks better than this device running 4k. First, it is grainy for awhile when I start a show and then becomes clear over time. This is a 5ghz connection on 500Mbps internet. Once it clears up, the picture still looks more washed out and less vibrant than what I get on the 1080p Onn stick.Voice Recognition: There is none. I tried voice search with both remotes and talking to the device itself. Each time it failed to pick up my voice and the search timed out.Conclusion: Even though the specs look good on this device, it does not have the features and user experience to make it worth the price. Other units will give you better value for far less money. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Extremely reliable mini TV box *by L***O on Reviewed in the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ on August 23, 2020* This box came nicely packed and when I opened it, I was very surprised of it's size. The box in one if not the smallest one on the market. The connection is very intuitive and with the first power on, everything you need is to just follow the screen instructions.I recommend to change the regional time zone in the beginning but if you skip it, you can always do the same thing in Settings.The box has modified remote, so that you can open Media, Music, Web, App applications with one click using dedicated buttons.WiFi is 2.4GHz and I found it very stable. I used WiFi for a week and never had a single glitch. The key is that WiFi should have a strong signal, otherwise I recommend using a WiFi extender or Ethernet cable.USB is useful to connect external storage or other USB devices like mouse and keyboard.Wireless Backlit keyboard is a good addition and helps with navigation and surfing the Internet and typing URLs and passwords since some applications and web sites were not designed for Android and you have to use mouse and typing.2GB of fast DDR4 RAM makes it powerful enough to stream movies and surf the Internet.16GB of ROM is good to install many applications, plus you can use an external up to 64GB TF memory card to extend the internal storage.The box came with Android 9.0 OS which is the stables Android OS version now.Powerful Hi 3798M V110 Quad Core CPU helps running applications and streaming movies very smoothly, with no buffering.Major applications like Netflix and YouTube are already preinstalled.I like the built-in OTA application which you can use to check for new OS updates to upgrade the OS with the newest OS. I recommend to run OTA before you start using the box to make sure its updated with the latest OS version. I have a very good experience with this Ccosycost and they always provide you with the latest updates. It is a different OS. Parts of home screen can not be customized. All buttons on home screen should be customizable. Some apps can not be installed from Google Play. Firefox app that is pre-installed is no longer supported. Fast response time. Apps load quickly.
