Er ist viel zu weich gebunden. Der Abtrag ist zwar gut, aber nach jeder Benutzung muss er abgerichtet werden. das kann man geschätzt 20 Mal tun, dann ist er durch.

鋼材によっては、力を入れて研がないと、滑って研げないです。硬い鋼材だと滑るようです。 研削力は、「あらとくん」という荒砥石より高いです。 包丁だけでなく砥石のほうも大きく削れます。平面になりにくいみたいです。特にCの120番は平面になりにくいです。 面直しして精密に削る砥石ではなく、大きく削るのに向いてます。 一般的な家庭の研ぎで、そんなに大きく形の変更をすることもないため、 一般的な家庭であれば、この砥石は不要でしょう。 コンコルドみたいな形になっている安い中古包丁を買って、形を直すとかっていうケースなんかには向いてますね。 研ぎ師さんに聞いた話では、「メーカーが言うには、赤エビ印のほうがいい材質を使っているらしい」とのことでした。 これを使い切ったら、赤エビ印のGCも試してみようと思います。
