The Kenmore part number is 661570. The old belt was approximately 5/16" wide and fairly thick, with four grooves. This replacement belt is also made by FSP in the good old USA and has four grooves. It is a Whirlpool-branded part. The similarity ends there. This new belt works just fine, but it is about 25% narrower than the old one. It is also not as thick and weighs a lot less. The length is exactly the same as the old one, and it fits the dryer drum perfectly. I'm just wondering how long it will last compared to the original belt, as it is nowhere near as sturdy. desertcart sells another replacement belt for Kenmore, Whirlpool and other dryers with the same PN of 661570. It costs about $3.00 more and may be a little bit heavier. If I had to do it again, I would probably buy the more expensive belt. Overall, however, I am satisfied with this belt.
