What is diameter at bottom inside?** A: The inside diameter of the bottom of this container is about 19 inches. The side walls are flared outward and the overall diameter at the top is about 25". **Q: What is the inside diameter at the top of the tub? I,m planing to use it as a cover on 22 inch storage drum.** A: The very top is 23 inches however it gradually decreases towards the bottom of the tub. so it may be a snug fit. Top rim does have some give to it though so it may be fine. **Q: what is inside diameter at the bottom?** A: 15 inches bottom diameter. **Q: Would this be good for using as a water trough for a horse?** A: It is very sturdy, and well made. I would however think that you would need a larger container for more than one horse. It only holds 15 gallons. It would also be easy to tip over.
