I get the pads at Griots Garage or any other place. The Makita rep told me years ago that I could do this **Q: What battery goes with the Makita Model XOB01Z?** A: It can take the BL1815 2.O AH which I have for my drill but needs a minor hack (see YouTube). This took less than a minute w a dremel tool to remove a small plastic tab on the battery so it could slide on. **Q: does this makita comes with bat?** A: Although it's been sometime since I made this purchase, I do not believe it came w/a battery. That's not to say that whomever you make your purchase from would exlude a battery; it's dependant on the retailer if a battery is included or not. Good luck! **Q: What size is the part that could connect to a vacuum cleaner hose? Is there an adaptor?** A: If you detach the dust bag from the rubber, and put just the rubber on the outlet,if fits over a standard 2 inch wet vac hose, which is how I used it.
