I was surprised to see that anything that can fit in the slot can be used to lock and unlock the door. We have been using coins, screwdrives, and our own keys to open the door. It is great because my young one does not know how to do this while my older kid does.Easy to assemble and put together (literally did 4 doors in a matter of 15-20 mins). Very straightforward and like the quality of the handles. ### ⭐⭐ NOT REVERSIBLE!! *by N***N on Reviewed in the United States on December 3, 2019* These are nice looking door handles, but they turn very stiff and ARE NOT REVERSIBLE. We could not figure out how to reverse them and contacted the seller. They confirmed that they are not reversible. We had already spent hours installing all of the others before we received confirmation that these would not work on our other doors. Very frustrating! ### ⭐⭐ NOT reversible *by S***N on Reviewed in the United States on April 19, 2020* How difficult would it be to make these actually reversible? Instead, the so-called "tool" that some have said comes with the units don't. And, virtually nothing works on the spring side. Have tried everything. The piece that's supposed to depress to allow the handle to slide off certainly seems to depress; however, the only way to get it to depress is by way of using a punch or a very small screw-driver--which then prevents the lever from sliding off. Have now been trying for hours. Two people, four hands. No difference. So, I now have a lever knob set that is no better than a paper weight. If you have any expectation that these will work for all doors, based on the ability to reverse the levers, caveat emptor.
