Can you make a sandwich with this bread?** A: This bread is steamed in a can rather than being baked. It is denser, sweeter and more crumbly than sandwich bread. You could make a sandwich with it, but we always eat it at holiday meals smeared with butter or cream cheese. Has a short shelf life so has to be eaten with in a month but, B and M make good bread. Bake time is 20 to 25 minutes in oven. It does come with microwave cooking instructions as well.
