For starters, I am a beginner to yoga.  This mat has served me well for my first yoga class. The mat itself is well padded and provided good cushion against the tile floor I was working on.  I love the portability of the mat as well.  It is very light weight and the strap works well for transport as well as for storage purposes.  The color is exactly as pictured and looks sleek.  Definitely recommend to anyone trying yoga.

Initial review for first few workouts: This pad is awesome for not being very thick but offering good padding for knees hips and elbows. Has a "memory" type cushion. Has excellent traction on slick flooring. Rated 4 stars as I don't know the durability yet.
