Lot easier than my stainless steel insert with teflon cups that came with larger pan. Cooked nice and easily. Like others I sprayed cups with cooking spray. I did need to release them around the edges - but not hard at all (had to do that with the teflon ones most of the time too). These are so much better. Less scratchy, more versatile, and no teflon. Easy to clean if you remember to rub some oil inside first. Half the time I forget but the poached eggs pop right out anyway. if you forget the oil it is really hard to scrub clean but I let the residue dry for a day or so and then it's easy.. Dishwasher safe , top rack with the glasses. You just have to experiment with the time to get the perfect eggs for you. We live at altitude so we go 13 minutes for hard yolks.
