They are indeed collapsible colanders.2. They are BPA free and made from non-toxic materials.3. They are heat resistant up to 110 degrees Celsius (I hope I will never need to test this feature in the near future).4. They are dishwasher safe and fit lots of chopped fruits or vegetables or pasta etc when extended. What I don’t like:The price is a bit higher than what I bought from dollar stores. Also, there are no other colors available for sale as options to customers. These are not major drawbacks though.I suggest that the manufacturer or the seller provide a sales discount to the price of the product. I also suggest that the manufacturer produce different colors of these collapsible sets as options to customers. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice design *by V***N on Reviewed in the United States on September 9, 2019* I love how these bowls stack and the sturdiness of them. I only wish there was drainage on the sides, as it is only on the bottom of the bowl. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect for RV or limited space *by M***O on Reviewed in the United States on September 22, 2019* We have been setting up our RV. Wish I would have thought about this kind of thing before Rv life. It is a great space saver. The collapsing sides are silicone but the base is durable plastic. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/133544451-jacartos-collapsible-colander-set-2-strainer-for-kitchen-food-grade](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/133544451-jacartos-collapsible-colander-set-2-strainer-for-kitchen-food-grade) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-26*
