The cube tray has small 1 inch ice cubes which are perfect for nutribullet smoothies. freezes fast. tray fits in the top grooves of the container so when cubes are ready you dump in, refill the tray , put on top and add lid. My frig Icemaker broke and this fits perfectly in the old bin spot. scoop is handy and works well. I do not keep it inside the bin. only complaint is the lid cracked from being frozen within a few months.
