I am not a professional athlete but I do spend quite a bit of time in the gym. They have recently changed this formula. It now tastes, smells, and behaves just like a casein protein powder. I know there's casein in it but it behaves like other %100 casein protein powders. If you've ever used casein protein powder you know that it's clumpy, foamy and sticky, more so than whey products. This product used to be smooth, I could just put it in my shaker bottle and go but I believe that this new formula should be blended in a blender. If I put it in my Blender Bottle (I usually mix it with 1% milk) it takes me a really really long time to shake it so that it is mixed well. Sometimes even after I shake it for a long time I open the lid to drink it and out comes dry powder. After I shake the hell out of it AGAIN and finally drink it, quite a bit of it is stuck to my teeth, the sides and lid of my Blender Bottle. I have to scrub it to get it clean as where before I could just quickly rinse it. I loved the taste of Probolic before they changed the formula and it tastes different now but it is still quite tasty and I find myself craving it. The smell reminds of cotton candy. I have used the vanilla and strawberry in the past as well but have not had any since the formula has changed. Just a note, Probolic is geared towards professional bodybuilders. I recommend reading / comparing the amino acid profile to other protein powders. I think you'll find that Probolic has a much higher content of amino acids (as much as 10 times the amount in other protein powders) than most protein powders and you may not require that much protein. I will buy this again despite the formula change and would recommend it to others. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worked WELL, tasted AWFUL *by S***Y on Reviewed in the United States on January 15, 2014* This product, other than only being half full (I expected that), had two standout features.1) It tasted TERRIBLE. I got the Vanilla and if I ever buy this stuff again, I will NOT get the Vanilla. I don't even have the words to describe just how it tasted, but through some clever use of honey, cinnamon, and a few extra ounces of water, the bad part of the taste was all but gone.2) Throughout my use of this product, I felt as though I recovered more quickly and was stronger on the comeback.
