Just sitting in the driveway it seems shaky, as if the phone wants to fall out. I tap it and it bounces around a lot and is finicky about inserting the phone, you can not just "drop" it into the holder. It seems if you have a thick case, it won't work due to the holding buttons being shallow. I'll update after a few days of use.12/19 Update: After moving to several different locations I have gotten this to be stable and strong. It actually holds well and I've increased the rating to 4 stars. ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars Didn't work for me *by R***Y on Reviewed in the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ on August 13, 2019* It's not a bad product, but it didn't work for me. There were no instructions in the box, so I didn't know whether or not to use the "brace" that kept falling off the back. I have an iPhone 6 (the standard size) and it didn't hold it securely enough. Hit a bump and my phone hit the floor. The holder stayed put, but my phone fell out. Don't trust it now, so not using. ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars Broke after a week of use *by C*** on Reviewed in the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ on September 15, 2022* Product loosely holds your phone. Bounced out of the holder going over a small speed bump. Today it just snaps in half. Tell them I want my money back but they need me to send them the item first. Zero stars if I could give it to them. Trash product. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/135463048-ebow-air-vent-phone-holder-universal-auto-retractable-hands-free](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/135463048-ebow-air-vent-phone-holder-universal-auto-retractable-hands-free) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-18*
