Receives 87-108 MHz. Manufactured in the USA with high quality components and covered by Centerfire Antenna's Lifetime Warranty. Ruggedly constructed from stainless steel, aluminum and UV resistant polymer to last years in the outdoor elements. Can be mounted on a pole or mast that is up to 1.5" in outside diameter. Plated steel mounting hardware is included. (Pole not included). This antenna uses standard 75 ohm TV coax cable (not included). RG6 cable with F-male connectors is recommended. Your FM receiver will require a 50 or 75 ohm input connection and may require an adapter (not included) The antenna is equipped with a standard 300-75 ohm outdoor transformer -Type F-female connection. Centerfire provides a one-year warranty on the transformer. This transformer is removable, allowing the user to install their choice of 50 or 75 ohm coax cable and end connector. This will also allow the antenna to be used for transmitting. (element trimming for proper tuning may be required) Assembly is fast and easy. I live about 50 miles from a major city in Tennessee (in hill country) so reception in my barn/workshop was nonexistent. I could only get 1 station with bad static on my stereo receiver. I tried other cheap FM antennas which failed miserably. This was my last try at getting good FM reception. I put the antennae on 20 ft of PVC mounted on the outside of my barn. Bought good quality coax cable and grounded it. When I hooked it into the receiver, I couldn't believe it. I now get 20 crystal clear stations and 10 stations with slight static. I am ecstatic. The antennae is working great. Not many products exceed my expectations but this one does. Next project -- putting up a good AM antennae to get SEC football for the fall. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Simple & Effective *by G***U on Reviewed in the United States on July 26, 2014* I have purchased two of these units and wanted to write about them. This is the industrial strength FM antenna I sought. I have one unit attached to the second floor soffit (no mast needed) serving two different stereo receivers with a Y-connector. Works very well for us to pick up big city stations that are 30-40 miles away. I purchased the second unit for a cottage and it provided respectable reception from a bench test in the basement ! Can't wait to get it mounted outside. You should plan out your installation using 75-ohm coaxial cable (standard cable TV variety) and purchase a splitter (F connector) just like the one included that attaches to the FM receiver.
