The dementions are 6" wide, 6 3/4 long, and 3 1/2 high. The number for hayward is 1-800429-9273. They may be able to help you. **Q: Can the handle be removed to fit a skimmer sock on the basket?** A: Sock can be used with it. I do it all the time **Q: Why does basket split and bottom keeps breaking ?** A: Because..... it is plastic. Plastic that is exposed to chemicals, running water and stress will become brittle. 3-4 year life cycle. Add a salt water chlorine generator with low ph and you’ll get less of a duty cycle. Even rocks will erode. It’s Plastic. A steel basket will corrode in /about the same time. **Q: Does the lip/edge of this basket have a notched in area in both sides so that it can be turned into place into the skimmer area?** A: I do not recall any notches on the skimmer basket. I believe it just sits inside the skimmer housing.
