Review: Well Built and Easy to Use - Love making my own pasta since taking a class last summer. It's easier than making bread, really! The Imperia is seriously well made and a good value over some of the cheaper models. For those who've never used a manual pasta machine, here are some things to know. Make sure that your countertop (or wherever you plan to use it) will accommodate the clamp for holding down the pasta maker. Second, get used to the handle coming out sometimes as you're rolling out the dough, if you're doing it solo. It's just part of the game. It's definitely easier with 2 people. Lastly, don't worry about cleaning the rollers/cutters. Pasta dries fairly quickly and is easy to brush out. Don't fret any pieces that you might miss, as it won't "spoil" inside the machine. Don't make the same mistake that I did with my spaghetti cutter. First time that I used it, I tried to clean it out by running a dry paper towel through it. Clogged things up seriously. Took me forever to clean it all out. Ended up bending some of the "combs" in the process. It still works OK, but ....
Review: Fantastic pasta maker that has been used for generations - We went to Italy in 2018. While we were there, we signed up for a pasta making class in someone's home via AirBnB. The woman had three of these for us to use. The class was given by her and her mother, who were both native Italians. As we worked, she showed us hers maker, that had been handed down to her from her grandmother! If that doesn't say long lasting quality, I don't know what does. As soon as we got back to the states, we ordered one for ourselves. It was a great investment! The maker is VERY easy to use, easy to set up and isn't too difficult to clean. We have used it multiple times, including with our 12 yr old daughter and her friends during a sleepover, with no difficulties at all. Highly recommended if you are looking to make your own pasta!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: What is the main difference between the Imperia Model No. 150 and the No. 190?**
A: There are two differences between the two. The first difference is that the model 150 produces 150mm wide pasta sheets, and model 190 produces 190mm wide sheets. The second difference is that the model 190 has the two cutters builtin to the unit. The model 150 comes in two pieces, a separate attachable piece that has the cutters.

**Q: Can I put dough through this machine without cutters? I.e. Can I use it for straight rolling of dough giving me a square or oblong of dough?**
A: Yes, and yes. The first process in the making of pasta is to condition the dough before putting it through the cutting rollers. The first conditioning rollers render the dough to a thickness of about 1/8 inch. Successive settings of these rollers roll it even thinner. These rollers deliver long pieces of dough about 5 inches wide. The length is determined by just how much dough you put through the machine. Dough longer than about 24 inches gets clumsy to handle. Hope this helps.

**Q: How many settings 9?**
A: Six settings

**Q: I just opened mine and a few parts were at the bottom of the box. Can anyone tell me where these go? I think I missed the cutoff for sending it back**
A: Its easy just look where they might fit one at the bottom one is for turning the rolls the other one goes on one side for the pasta when you re putting between the rolls, dont send it back just enjoy it

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great product.
*by A***N on November 3, 2019*

This is a great product! We love making our own pasta and ravioli now! It was a gift for my mother for Christmas, and she loved it! The only problem is that it is slightly hard to keep it in one place when it is attached to the counter. It moves around a bit. Otherwise it was great! The box it came in had been punctured by the handle of the pasta roller as well. Otherwise it was great!
