Review: Quite possibly my favorite game of 2020 - When I initially purchased my Series X at launch I was looking for something to play that was optimized for the Series X/S and I ended up going with the new CoD. Don't get me wrong CoD on the X is a visual powerhouse, but it really didn't keep me interested very long, so I traded it in for Cyberpunk 2077 because they didn't have Immortals Fenyx Rising in stock. That night I looked on desertcart and saw that they had it in stock, as well as on sale so I bought the standard edition. I've never been a huge fan of Assassins Creed (though I've heard that the newer games are better) and I know that Immortals was developed by the studio responsible for the highly praised AC Odyssey, but with the visual style of Nintendo's, Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Let me just say that if you've been even slightly interested in this game, do yourself a favor and get this game immediately, you won't regret it. The visuals, while cartoonish have a very detailed Disney quality to the characters and animation. The controls are very easy to get used to, and if you don't like the setup you can map your own buttons. The story is pretty straightforward, but the narration by Prometheus and Zeus keep the story, and events humorous as well as interesting by throwing in different stories about Greek mythology. There are plenty of things like Vaults of Tartaros, and side quests to keep you occupied, and the puzzles can sometimes seem difficult, it's usually because I'm over thinking. I'm playing on Normal difficulty and it seems pretty balanced as far as enemies go, and more seasoned gamers might want to up the difficulty. I've put nearly 40 hours into this game so far and I'm a little over a quarter of the way through the story, though to be honest I'm taking my time and I'm trying to complete everything because I'm having a great time playing. Easily one the best games I've played in a while, and I'll definitely be purchasing the season pass Review: Great game for hours of fun - I purchased this title because it looked like it could be fun and engaging. It has far surpassed my expectations in game play and entertainment value. I don't play online games because I only have at most an hour here and there to enjoy some down time. I've been playing this game for several days now and it's still going strong. I purchased the Xbox One version. ## Features - Wield the powers of the gods like Achilles' sword and Daidalos' wings to battle powerful enemies and solve ancient puzzles. - Fight iconic mythological beasts like Cyclops and Medusa in dynamic combat in the air and on the ground. - Use your skills and diverse weapons, including self-guided arrows, telekinesis, and more, for devastating damage. - Discover a stylized open world across seven unique regions, each inspired by the gods. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07SK5F16D | | Best Sellers Rank | #5,333 in Video Games ( See Top 100 in Video Games ) #200 in Xbox One Games | | Compatible Video Game Console Models | Microsoft Xbox One, Microsoft Xbox One S, Microsoft Xbox One X | | Computer Platform | Xbox One | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 4.6 out of 5 stars (6,805) | | Date First Available | December 31, 2018 | | Department | All Ages | | Genre | Action | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00887256091040 | | Item Weight | 2.39 ounces | | Item model number | E3_2019_Placeholder_std_20 | | Language | English | | Manufacturer | Ubisoft | | Number of Players | 1 Player | | Product Dimensions | 0.52 x 6.68 x 5.3 inches; 2.4 ounces | | Publication Date | December 3, 2020 | | Rated | Teen | | Release date | December 3, 2020 | | Type of item | Video Game | | UPC | 887256106522 887256091040 | ## Images ![Immortals Fenyx Rising - Xbox One Standard Edition - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81Nx92nL-kL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Platform For Display, Edition** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Quite possibly my favorite game of 2020 *by A***W on January 11, 2021* When I initially purchased my Series X at launch I was looking for something to play that was optimized for the Series X/S and I ended up going with the new CoD.
