They have served me well, they are my first pair of CAT boots, although I would like to try other brands for my next pair. A month of intense usage to break in fully, the tread is a bit low after two months but as expected with as much as I move around in them, but they were worth the price. I rated 4 stars instead of 5 because the waterproof aspect has become obsolete and that was the main reason I purchased them.Pros: My feet are no longer sore after 10-12 hour daysThickDurableEasy to cleanThe best heel support I have ever had! The issue I have with this boot is this. I want a water proof boot to be water proof. This boot has a canvas/cloth toung. If you step into a puddle that will submerge the toung of this boot even for 2 seconds, the boot fills with water. The toung should have been made of leather, the same material as the rest of the boot.Review is after 3 months of wear, being worn every other day for 12 hrs a day, 10 of which were sitting in a crane.The Tung of the boot is canvas. If you work a job site that has puddles 3" or more deep. The water runs into the boot through the canvas Tung.Nice arch support for a work boot but still hard on your feet even with gelling insoles.Where the sole meets the leather its glued like so many. The sole is beginning to unglue all around the boot.Needless to say I was very disappointed in the product. Exactly 2 days after the return window expired. I don't have high hopes for these shoes. I have owned 2 pairs of Craftsman steel toed boots and one pair of Timberland steel toed boots (each pair cost about the same as these boots) and each pair lasted several years without any issues until I simple wore out the soles of the boots. For the price of these boots I expected the same quality. I also must say that there are relatively uncomfortable. All three of my other steel toed boots were very very comfortable. I purchased these on line to save me the trip to the store. Don't make the same mistake that I did. Don't buy these shoes.
