Good general reference book. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great background read, but not for day to day clinical reference *by L***E on September 17, 2015* This is a really great basic science reference that is more clinical than say say a Robbins' or Harrison. It is not ideal as a desk reference as the table of contents only lists chapter and not subheadings, ex: chapter x = heart disease, with no list of diseases underneath. You therefore have to flip through the whole chapter or look it up in the appendix. Information is excellent however and I use it probably weekly to brush a few times a month as a primary care provider.
