After the first week, the stomach aches stopped. Also, I doubled checked and realized I wasn't getting a full 14.5 g scoop when I was scooping. Made sure I was and it definitely made a difference. I've had some amazing workouts over the past 3 weeks and now I feel like I could go for forever in the gym. It's the feeling I remember having.ORIGINAL:So I finally got around to trying the new formula. I had been off preworkout for over a year and had no caffeine for 2 weeks before starting.Verdict: kind of sucks.It doesn't really give me the energy I'm looking for, especially compared to the old version. The old assault made me tingly and super motivated, and I always had so much energy that I extended my workouts. Seriously I didn't want to leave the gym.The new assault just feels like drinking a cup of coffee, maybe not even that strong. Sure, the caffeine feeling lasts longer, but I'd rather have 90-120 minutes of in your face energy, versus 4 hours of dull energy. This product came up one of the first ones on the list, I read the reviews and decided to give it a try.I like the taste , its not too powerful but yet not too weak. But I also didn't use full scoop first time because I didn't know how I will react to it. I tried it first time for my ABS plus Step Class and I loved it! It did give me energy to push harder! Same thing happened for my second workout, I stayed an extra hour after my boot camp class.I am not taking this product for long time but I have to say I like it so far, I just hope it will keep giving me the same level of energy every single time. I've used many different brands, and while this doesn't compare with the likes of pre-regulated Jack3d and the other various PE's that hit the market it is still effective. The taste was also decent enough to not count it against it, which is typical for these types of products. I'll buy it again at some point, but not right away as I like to alternate brands in an effort to keep the potency up.So, in short:TASTE: Decent enough. Just put your serving in a glass/shaker and fill it up with a shot's worth of water. Swirl it around and then take it like a shot. Beats having to gulp down a bunch of water if you dislike the taste.EFFECTS: I'm pretty sensitive to stimulants and this particular preworkout didn't hit me too hard. Just the right amount of energy without getting jittery, warm face/ears or experiencing any of the other strange effects I've had with PEs.
