Designed for tight spaces and multiple materials, this kit includes two dowels with chipboard screws for fast, secure, and invisible installations. ## Description DuoTec 10 is the anchor attachment for all slab applications that allows to improve the performance of the fixings by increasing the load capacity up to 25% in total safety. Compared to traditional treble hooks, Fischer DuoTec 10 allows you to reduce the section of the hole drilled and to be able to complete the installation even in small spaces, with invisible fixings and with a perfect aesthetic performance. In addition, there is no cutout in the support area so that the plasterboard wall is not weakened. DuoTec 10 can be used for fixing signage panels, ceiling lights, electrical panels and push-buttons, electrical pipes and ducts, sensors and cameras, piping clamps, lamps and emergency lights. This nylon swing fixing system is certified for applications on plasterboard, gypsum fibreboard, wood also chipboard or MDF plywood sheets, steel sheets and plastic panels. However, it is easy and quick to apply even for solid materials such as concrete and wood. Review: This is only a pack of 2 plugs! - the item was heavily discounted when I decided to purchase, from around £15 to £5. Nowhere obvious did it state it was a 2 pack. Never in a million years is anyone paying £15 for 2 of these so that’s very misleading. Look at a hardware store for comparison and you can get a 10 pack for £10 or 20 pack for around £16, so you would automatically think these were a 10 or 20 pack. The plugs themselves are really very good providing you can get a gap between the plasterboard and the wall behind, otherwise the plugs won’t rotate into place very easily. Once they’re in the wall as instructed, they’re super secure. I used them for a tv wall mount and it’s very secure. So my only advice is to check the pack size you require, but don’t hesitate to use these plugs if you require a sturdy fixing. Review: Don't Bother - Bought to hang a towel rail on a plasterboard wall. Drilled the 10mm hole and inserted the fixing. Inserted the screw but it just spun and would not grip.
