I’ve been wearing a lot of moc-toe loafers and boots, but I didn’t have anything casual enough to wear with shorts and still look put together enough for a nice dinner. Pro’s: The toe box is nice and wide, toes. Lace system goes all the way around the back. It’s a true moccasin construction, stitched through to the sole. Very comfortable. More casual than a loafer, more formal than a sneaker. Very lightweight. A great value at $100. Cons: The sole is of course pretty thin, and I don’t know how comfortable these would be if you had to stand around all day in them. The insole, while contoured is a little thin and flimsy. I’d like to put my own insole in these, but It’s glued in. I’m. Sure they should pull out easy enough. I’m guessing they do that to keep the insole from shifting around. All in all, I’m going to stick with my 5, because I knew what they are when I ordered them, and they exceeded my expectations at $100.
