Straightens wonderful curling is a bit more challenging with my hair.

1) keeps turning off.2) too easy to bump the temp control while trying to curl3) started smoking.4) after reading and watching multiple videos, how to's, etc... It barely puts a light curl.NOT WORTH IT.

The product seems like a decently made product, but I didn't like it. I love the look of hair curled with a straightener but I can't seem to do it with a regular straightener. I thought this would make it easier but it did not curl my hair, only the ends got a tiny but of curl but the rest of it stayed straight. Did not look like the beachy waves I see online with people using a similar wand. Also, it was catching strands of hair and yanking them out as I tried to pull it through my hair. I don't know if it was the little "sawtooth" edge on the wand or what, but I was expecting it to glide through my hair smoothly without catching strands and yanking them out. I'm wondering if it didn't curl because I just needed to practice technique with it more, but because of the pulling problem I was not willing to keep trying so I just returned it.This doesn't matter but something to note...the temperature is in Celsius. I live in the US so we use Fahrenheit and I'm not familiar with the ºC scale. I just put it on as hot as it would go and assumed it was of a similar heat level to my usual ºF straightener which I also use on about as hot as it will go. Again it doesn't really matter as a non-professional salon heating product will I'm sure reach the same types of temp levels no matter what temperature scale is used, but I didn't like that.

Very difficult to use. The plates do not close together. It tangled my hair and left it frizzy.

It took me a minute to figure out how to curl. But it works. I love the color.

This straightener does not curl. The ends of hair look crimped the rest is straight. Degrees are in Celsius. The lock sticks.

First, there are some reviews here with the pink iron, that is nothing similar to what I have purchased, not sure where they came from. The nice thing is that the iron does heat up quick. The not so good is that the teeth on the ends get hair stuck in them. The lock locks while you are using the iron and it does not close until you unlock it. It does curl your hair but it takes a while to get a hang of it, the curls do not always come out. The box was really smashed, it looks like some one returned it and they shipped it to me.
