I then decided to leave some space for additional comment after a longer use. I don't mind the taste and use this one undiluted as well. If one keeps a good record of their health prior to the start of using the Liposomal Glutathione it is not hard to notice the benefits after a few days of use. I was at first a little skeptical after reading the book "Beyond The Blue Zone" by Jason Kennedy but decided to give it a try anyway and I'm glad I did. That is only for the obviously noticeable benefits of course, and if there are the many less obvious but much more far reaching processes that take place in our bodies with the help of this wonder molecule then Glutathione truly is the "master guardian" of our health . I have tried this product plus 3 other ones sold on Amazon. They are all are just as effective, except this product is practically half the price. This makes it easier to afford to take it twice a day, as prescribed by my physician. I have been taking Liposomal Glutathione for 1 year in conjunction with other synergistic vitamins that increase the body's glutathione stores ( vitamin C, B-complex-w/methylated B-12, selenium, omega-3, alpha lipoic acid, digestive enzymes, NAC, glycine, & glutamine). It was impressed upon me that glutathione should also be consumed with protein and minerals. It has been helping my body slowly detox, overcoming 5 years of out-of-control auto-immune system reactions and consequent weight gain (daily cortisone use--severe allergies, asthma & fibromyalgia). Glutathione is the master anti-oxidant. My understanding is that vitamins in general are not as effective without proper levels in your body of glutathione. Today, especially as we age, it becomes harder for some bodies to deal with the amount of mental & physical stressors and toxins in the environment. Long illness and excessive medications take a toll, as well. This product is a help but is even more effective if you take the aforementioned vitamins PLUS rest, eat plenty of raw foods, exercise, de-stress (I meditate) in order to slowly detox your body effectively. Natural sources of glutathione in our diet come from eating raw veggies and fruits daily (farmers market or your garden is best) and for some, occasionally eating rare meat. Even better, daily drink a glass of raw veggies and fruits that you juice together in a juicer--consuming greens, cilantro, asparagus, cruciferous veggies are especially helpful. Only thing faster I found out (but still takes months) is glutathione suppositories or glutathione IVs (an alternative healthcare practitioner can administer them). Problem is the detox side effects for sicker patients (like me) can be difficult to tolerate--I know. I found this product a less expensive and gentler route. It will still take some time (maybe another year in my case) and continued healthy habits on my part. But, yes, slowly it has worked for me: I totally stopped taking the daily cortisone & antibiotics & high blood pressure meds. With added effort, I also lost 60 lbs. For over 5 years I just couldn't seem to recover--a sign, my alternative healthcare practitioner said, that among other things, indicated I was possibly low on glutathione. He recommended glutathione, synergistic supplements, careful food choices, a healthier lifestyle--and it slowly worked.
