I have an inkjet printer (about 20" x 20" x 6" and 28.6 lbs) on the top shelf and a subwoofer on bottom shelf. And it works okay for this. Really nice it has wheels. This unit, however, probably is not sturdy enough for a heavy printer (e.g. 60+ lbs., though I haven't tried it.)
