No snake oil here. - Mammoth around Christmas, my windshield was foggy round the edges. 3 months later I used this stuff, went to Tahoe, it was minus 10 degrees, but on the glass, no fog, whatsoever. None. This stuff works. It goes on crusty but polishes up real well. Like invisible. No effort neither, just a 2-minute job. YT's Scotty Kilmer recommended it. He's hardly ever wrong. Great stuff for preventing fogging. Review: Exactly what I needed! - The heater/defroster in my car stopped working and it was almost impossible to get the windows to defog in the morning. I cleaned my windows really well, applied a decent layer of this stuff, let it dry, then used a clean paper towel to buff the film away. Worked like a charm! My windows were crystal clear this morning! Worth every penny. UPDATE: one week later and there seems to be an odd film on my windshield. It didn't show up until about 2 days after using this stuff. My driver and passenger windows do not have the film but my windshield does. I'm going to clean it a few times and try to apply this stuff again to see what happens. Not sure why it worked so well on the other windows but not my windshield! Will post another update after I give it another shot. ANOTHER UPDATE: it's been about 2 months since my last update and I think I've got this stuff figured out! After cleaning my windshield again really well to remove the film, I reapplied this stuff the same way I did originally but buffed twice as much as the first time. They were crystal clear for about a month until it started to wear off! So I just did the same thing and it lasted about another month. So if you clean your windows REALLY well prior to applying this stuff, then buff the film off REALLY well after applying, it should last about a month before it starts to wear off and you slowly notice it fogging. I've tried three products so far and this one is, in fact, the best. I apply it liberally, let it dry, then very gently in a circular motion I rub until the lens is clear. Use a microfiber cloth. And the lens will get clear. You will be able to drive for quite awhile but condensation will start forming where your nose blows on the visor. Eventually you will not be able to see the instruments as you glance down but you will be able to see the road clearly. Other products still fog up the visor at low speed and you need to continually lift it, especially when stopped. So this is much superior. **Q: Could this be used on eyeglasses?** A: If you don’t have any kind of coating for your glasses, it would work. Many anti-fog sprays contain chemicals that can eat away at anti-glare and scratch coatings. There are anti-fog wipes out there specifically for glasses with those kind of coatings **Q: How effective is this product on bathroom mirrors?** A: Works great to keep them steam free, but it does cause water drops. The precip has to go somewhere. I love it though, because I can SEE. **Q: does this product leave a film on the glass** A: It will leave streaks if you apply it without completely cleaning the windshield first. If you are a smoker, like me, that means 2-3 applications of windex and let it completely dry off.
