I can also confirm that it will hook up to a Meat! your maker #12 grinder. Bonus! It is pricey, but if you get into sausage making on any level, it's worth it. Buy once, cry once.

**Q: What is minimum load?**
A: dont know for sure but prob 5lbs..I used it a few weeks ago works great

**Q: Could this product mix dough also?**
A: It was designed to mix sausage meat. We have not done any testing and don't knoe if it would be able to mix dough sufficiently or if the design of the mixer would be able to stand up to the different dynamics of dough in the long run.

**Q: Is it difficult to get the meat out since it doesn’t tilt?**
A: yes it is difficult to unload because it doesn't tilt.

**Q: This is electric right?**
A: No you have to hook it up to the correct grinder to make it electric

This mixer has been a hand saver for me. No longer do I have to mix my sausage by hand. In the past I hand mixed my sausage, which is labor intensive and would freeze my hands. Now, just dump in the meat, add seasonings and turn on the switch. In just a few minutes my sausage is mixed to perfection.
