Whether this is true or not, these particular specs are, in my opinion, rubbish. It might be worth spending a bit more money and getting decent ones. **Q: Will these help with cataracts? I am quite short-sighted but can watch television perfectly well with these.When wearing the glasses everything does become quite dark, as you would expect. But I found I have got used to that. Initially I found they gave me slight double vision as well, but that also seems to have improved.I do find that they are very good when I am not moving about, such as watching TV, but not so good for if I'm moving about the house.At such a low price, they are definitely worth a try. He found that if he looked through gaps in his fingers, he weirdly could see clearer. But if you focus on looking through just one whole, it is amazing how clearly you can read without your glasses.
