The Nuvo jSax Beginner Saxophone is a lightweight, compact, and kid-friendly instrument made from durable, waterproof ABS resin. Designed for ages 4 and up, it features short-reach keys and removable training hole covers to support progressive learning from simple melodies to full chromatic scales. Tuned in concert C and covering 1.5 octaves, it comes complete with a carry case, synthetic reeds, and mouthpiece, making it ideal for classrooms, road trips, and pre-band programs.

## Description

The jSax follows traditional sax fingerings and is fully chromatic from middle C to G in the next octave. It has a surprising mellow sax sound and is fun to play. The sax is lightweight, portable and 100% waterproof making it very suitable for road trips and for the classroom. The jSax uses Nuvo synthetic reeds and can also use standard soprano saxophone reeds/E-flat clarinet reeds. It comes with a durable molded case.
